UMBI is female-founded.

It was born as an idea in Barcelona during a trade show.

The first UMBIs and their photographs were not created in a garage but on our kitchen tables. And since then, it's been growing organically, reaching over $1 million in U.S. sales in its first year.

UMBI comes from "umbilical cord." We believe you are a miracle: unique, special, and irreplaceable. Just as our umbilical cords connect us to life, we each connect to the world in our own beautiful way.
